Huawei’s P50 series is set to be unveiled on July 29th



After so many delays and fake dates, finally the Asian giant of Huawei confirmed the official date for the presentation of the expected P50 series. The data was confirmed via Weibo.

Finally the presentation will take place on that day July 29 at 7.30 pm local time in China, and Huawei itself told us that the P50 Series will be launched with pioneering mobile imaging technology.

Earlier rumors showed that the Huawei P50 series will be equipped with a camera Sony IMX800 Made to Measure It will be the first 1-inch mobile camera sensor with a 50 megapixel resolution and a RYYB color filter.

The Huawei P50 series is expected to include three models such as the P50, P50 Pro and P50 Pro +. It is speculated that only the Pro and Pro + variants will have the Sony IMX800 lens.

Another rumor reveals that the Huawei P50 will have a triple camera unit made up of a Sony IMX707 camera, a Sony IMX600 lens, and a 3x telephoto camera. The P50 Pro’s four-camera unit can include a Sony IMX800 lens, an OmniVision OV64A camera, a 5x periscopic camera, and a new ToF sensor.

It is also said that the P50 series will integrate a Kirin 9000 processor in its native China, while global models may include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. However, both processors will only be able to operate with 4G.
